My name is Dan and I founded Honey Optics in March of 2021. I started this company because I saw the need for a PTZ camera vendor that truly understood the customer and market.

During start of COVID in 2019, I myself was looking at PTZ cameras for a non-profit that I volunteered at.

To my surprise this industry was full of decade old type of sales. Where the vendors only used resellers and distributors. Which in itself is not bad until the customer starts running into technical problems and needs assistance. Which was non-existent when I tried contacting the manufacturer to ask a few questions.

So I decided to start a company and do it better.

I am familiar with supply-chain and China so I had my agent in China visit a few factories and we found one that offered 4K PTZ cameras at awesome prices.

So we made a small test order, sold out and the rest is history!
